Marissa Welch - Student Campus Minister
Marissa is a member of the Class of 2013 from Virginia Beach, VA. She is a communication studies major and a double minor in leadership studies and philosophy/religious studies. She is involved in the President’s Leadership Program and is a tutor for the Center for Academic Success. Marissa has been involved in CCM since her freshman year through leadership team, Viaticus, Encounter with Christ, and many other activities. CCM is a place where Marissa feels that she can be herself and has had an amazing time as well as met an awesome group of friends.

Andrea Fuentes - Minister of Spirituality
Andrea is a goofy individual who is mostly recognized for her laugh. This year she officially decided to be a Psychology and Sociology major. Music is something constant in her life, all kinds of it. She is the Minister of spirituality for CCM and has a desire to serve and be here for others. She hopes to talk to you soon!

Natalie DeSanctis - Co-Minister of Fellowship
Natalie is excited to be part of CNU’s campus ministries. She is lives in Ashburn Virginia but was born in Boston, Massachusetts and grew up in Rochester, New York. As a biology and neuroscience major with a minor in Spanish she hopes to one day become a doctor. Natalie is very outgoing, and is excited to build new friendships through Christ. She loves traveling, going on retreats and meeting new people. As a fellowship minister she wants to empower and revitalize the catholic community here at CNU. Natalie holds student ministries close to her heart and hopes to spread Christ love through this ministry.

Tessa Theis - Co-Minister of Fellowship
Tessa Theis is an English major and Theater minor here as well as an Honors student in CNU’s class of 2014. She is so excited to be on the Fellowship and Hospitality team! On top of being involved with CCM, she is also an active member of Take Note women’s a cappella group, loves music, and meeting new people! She is part of the leadership team for Viaticus, where she first got involved with CCM as a freshman. She has a goal to learn as many people’s names as possible, so help her out and say “hi” if you don’t know her already because she’ll be so happy to meet you!

Megan Jones - Minister of Music
Megan Jones, former navy brat, currently considers McLean, VA as her home. A part of the class of 2014, she is a history major with a leadership minor and hopes to later teach at the elementary school level. Since coming to CNU, she has been an active participant in Wednesday Night Renewal and is now one of the prayer group's co-leaders. Megan has grown up with music around her and has been an active member of her church choirs for most of her life. She began taking piano when she was six and loves to sing. More recently, she has taken up the guitar and ukulele. Harnessing one of her greatest passions, she is extremely excited to be the Minister of Music. In her spare time, she may be seen enjoying two of her greatest loves - Harry Potter and Doctor Who.

Angela Haggard - Minister of Worship
Hailing from Yorktown, Angela Haggard is a religious studies major and a history minor. Having a blast at Viaticus upon matriculating at CNU served as a catalyst for her to become more involved in CCM. Faithfully serving her home parish community as altar server and even heading that ministry during her teens, she now serves CCM as Minister of Worship. After graduating from CNU, Angela hopes to work in the Vatican doing whatever God calls her to do.

Sam O'Neil - Minister of Justice and Peace
Sam O'Neil is a sophomore business major here at CNU. He is from Alexandria, Virginia. He enjoys playing various percussion instruments for CCM choir. Sam is also the minister of justice and peace for CCM. When he is not helping with mass or playing in the choir, he is doing drumline. He enjoys playing music as well as listening to it.

Kelly Willett - Web Minister
Kelly Willett is yet another native of Northern Virginia (Gainesville, to be specific) and is a biology major. She is also a member of the Pre-Med Scholars, President's Leadership, and Honors Programs while double minoring in leadership studies and chemistry. After her many, many years of schooling, she hopes to one day be a developmental pediatrician primarily serving children with Down syndrome. In her spare time, she coaches a Special Olympics gymnastics team and facilitates freshman orientation. Kelly became involved in CCM through Viaticus her freshman year, a weekend that proved to be the best possible introduction to the kindness and generosity of the CCM community. She is thrilled to serve as the webminister and become more involved in Catholic Campus Ministry. Kelly is also a member of CNU's Women's Chorus, sees almost every TheaterCNU production, loves to meet new people, and has an odd knack for remembering birthdays. Tell her your birthday once, and be prepared for a big birthday hug!

John Hopke - Campus Minister
John Hopke is excited to join the CNU CCM family, taking on the role as Catholic Campus Minister this Spring. A Williamsburg native, John has spent the past eight years of his life in Charlottesville, VA, first as a student at the University of Virginia, and later as the Assistant Campus Minister for the Catholic Student Ministry at UVA. John has a passion for evangelization and mission, and strives to bring that passion into his ministry on the CNU Campus.
He enjoys writing and playing music, especially when leading worship. He also enjoys running, traveling, and cooking. He especially loves spending time with his new wife, Sam, and his family.

Libby Westley - CCM Advisor
Libby Westley, Director of Career Planning, is CCM’s advisor and a member of Immaculate Conception Parish in Hampton, Virginia. Listening and talking to people as they discern their roles and the work to which they are called, she considers her work with college students and in higher education as ministry. Another aspect of her ministry is helping people make the connections necessary to pursue their callings. Her introduction to this ministry came while a teenager serving as an aide in the Career Center of her high school. Later as a student at James Madison University, Libby was actively involved in many aspects of student affairs and with Catholic Campus Ministry. She is an aluma of Encounter with Christ #108 and highly recommends the diocesan sponsored retreat to CCMers. After earning her Master’s degree in College Student Personnel, Libby completed a year of volunteer work as a campus minister with the Claretians, an order of priests, brothers and lay people. Since then, Libby has worked in several colleges and universities in a variety of assignments including residence life, leadership development, community service, campus ministry, and career development. Libby came to CNU in June 2010 after spending ten years at Davidson College in North Carolina. In her spare time, Libby enjoys running, Pilates, cooking, and entertaining.
